Demonstration Version

Choose one of the links below to download a setup file which, when run, will install the Demo Version of LexiKAN 2.0 onto your computer.  This version allows you to explore all of the features of the program.  Use the preset list of Flashcards which is initially loaded to explore the Writing and Reading practice modes or click the "Flashcard Builder" button to instantly create a syllabus of kanji and compound flashcards.  The Guided Tour (Ctrl-T) is also very helpful.  Only the File management features (open, save, import/export) are disabled in the demo version and there is no time limit for its use.

Note:  For best results, a compatible Japanese font should be installed on your computer.

Detailed download instructions

1. Click the "Refresh" button on your browser to ensure you are downloading the latest version of the demo program.

2. Click on the program link above for the desired operating system.  The 2000/ME/XP file is smaller due to the requirement to include Windows Installer in the 95/98 and NT setup programs.

3. Select "Save this program to disk" and choose a directory in which to save the setup program executable

4. After the download is complete, run the "Setup_LexiKAN2Demo.exe" file by double-clicking the filename

5. A shortcut to "LexiKAN 2.0" should be installed on your desktop and in the Windows Programs menu

6. Click on the LexiKAN icon on the desktop or run LexiKAN from the Programs menu
